Efter at Waveplane's prototype havarerede og grundstødte ved Hanstholm i starten af 2009, arbejdes der nu på at gøre det muligt at renovere prototypen, for dernæst igen at få den sæsat. |

WavePlane is ready to deploy the first full-scale prototype to its proper testing environment. The prototype is currently located at the Grenaa Pier, shown in the photos below. Initially, the prototype will be put into the harbor basin for functionality testing. Following this, it will be towed to its proper location at Hanstholm, off Roshage Pier, where anchoring facilities are standing by for it.
On-site, the final laying out of a sea cable will be performed, connecting the prototype to the internet, and to the electrical grid.
